Free Will Baptists are not immune to the shortage of pastors in North America. To address this problem, we have launched The Shepherding Initiative.
Over two years ago, we began a pastor placement program led by Dr. Tim York where we confidentially assist pastors and churches in finding one another. Check out the Better Together Podcast with Pastor Barry Long to get a sense of how that program works. However, the number of available pastoral candidates does not meet the need, and we have found it necessary to work with churches until they can settle on a pastor.
In the shepherding approach, a leader works with a leader within the church weekly to help them continue the day to day operations of the church. We provide additional resources to the church to help it continue ministering until they find a pastor. If you are interested in the program, complete the form below.
