Ministry Positions Available

Full time position to work with and help develop our growing youth group (avg – 20 kids 5-9 grades). This would include but not limited to, teaching/preaching weekly in Sunday School, Jr. Church; planning activities, supporting the kids in school activities, developing relationships with parents, discipling students in their Christian walk. The church would prefer a husband and wife team. Experience is not a necessity, but would be preferred.

Titusville is a fast-growing, family-oriented community. We are located directly west of the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Port Station where rocket launches are almost a daily occurrence. Due to the commercialization of the space program Titusville is experiencing significant growth with a population around 50,000.

Titusville is conveniently located within an hour’s drive of Daytona Beach to the north, Cocoa Beach to the South and Orlando (Disney, Epcot, Sea World, etc. ) to the west.

Brief Job Description:

Truth FWBC is looking for a man that has a heart for children and young families. We prefer a couple who are committed to working together and are dedicated to serving the Lord through Family Ministry and aren’t afraid to think “outside of the box.”

The heart of Truth FWBC is to see young people come to Christ and help families navigate their spiritual journey together as they grow in the Lord.

Responsibilities Include:

Develop a vision and provide leadership for Truth Family Ministries. This would include nursery through high school.

Partnering with parents and helping to equip them to raise their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.” (Eph 6:4)

Recruiting, training, and directing volunteers.

Planning and developing age-appropriate lessons, and events.

Ensuring a safe, and protective learning environment.

Planning and directing outreach events.

Qualifications:

A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

A clear calling to Children’s / Family Ministry.

A degree in Children’s Ministry or equivalent experience in the field of Children’s Ministry.

A musical background is desired but not required

Must have strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
