The Cross Wire Bible Society sponsors and provides a place for web designers and engineers to collaborate on a website dedicated to promoting the Kingdom of God. The site offers many free Bible study resources to pastors and teachers (and any Christian diving into a deeper study of the Word of God).   The name stemmed from the idea that the Cross of Christ is our wire to God. Over the years, the meaning has evolved as the site has used the global Internet to reach “across the wire” to distribute Scripture around the world.
