Brief Job Description:

Truth FWBC is looking for a man that has a heart for children and young families. We prefer a couple who are committed to working together and are dedicated to serving the Lord through Family Ministry and aren’t afraid to think “outside of the box.”

The heart of Truth FWBC is to see young people come to Christ and help families navigate their spiritual journey together as they grow in the Lord.

Responsibilities Include:

Develop a vision and provide leadership for Truth Family Ministries. This would include nursery through high school.

Partnering with parents and helping to equip them to raise their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.” (Eph 6:4)

Recruiting, training, and directing volunteers.

Planning and developing age-appropriate lessons, and events.

Ensuring a safe, and protective learning environment.

Planning and directing outreach events. Truth

Qualifications:

A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

A clear calling to Children’s / Family Ministry.

A degree in Children’s Ministry or equivalent experience in the field of Children’s Ministry.

A musical background is desired but not required

Must have strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church is seeking a Full-Time Children’s Ministry Director to lead, build, and inspire a dynamic ministry that partners with families to nurture children from birth through 5th grade in knowing and loving Jesus.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing vision, direction, and oversight for all children’s ministry environments (nursery through elementary).
• Recruiting, training, and encouraging volunteers and ministry teams.
• Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lessons, activities, and events.
• Partnering with parents to equip them as the primary spiritual leaders of their children.
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for all children and families.
• Overseeing ministry budgets, curriculum, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in children’s ministry or education preferred.

Job Duties:

-coordinate with volunteer staff to plan and execute all youth events (VBS, youth camp, service projects/outreach, holiday parties/events, etc.)

-Fill in for the pastor when needed
-involvement in youth and family extracurricular activities
-provide resources/support for families and youth
