We are located directly west of the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Port Station where rocket launches are almost a daily occurrence. Due to the commercialization of the space program Titusville is experiencing significant growth with a population around 50,000.<\/p>\n

Titusville is conveniently located within an hour\u2019s drive of Daytona Beach to the north, Cocoa Beach to the South and Orlando (Disney, Epcot, Sea World, etc. ) to the west.<\/p>\n

Truth FWBC is looking for a man that has a heart for children and young families. We prefer a couple who are committed to working together and are dedicated to serving the Lord through Family Ministry and aren\u2019t afraid to think \u201coutside of the box.\u201d<\/p>\n

The heart of Truth FWBC is to see young people come to Christ and help families navigate their spiritual journey together as they grow in the Lord.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Develop a vision and provide leadership for Truth Family Ministries. This would include nursery through high school.<\/p>\n

Partnering with parents and helping to equip them to raise their children in the \u201cnurture and admonition of the Lord.\u201d (Eph 6:4)<\/p>\n

Recruiting, training, and directing volunteers.<\/p>\n

Planning and developing age-appropriate lessons, and events.<\/p>\n

Ensuring a safe, and protective learning environment.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

A clear calling to Children\u2019s \/ Family Ministry.<\/p>\n

A degree in Children\u2019s Ministry or equivalent experience in the field of Children\u2019s Ministry.<\/p>\n

A musical background is desired but not required<\/p>\n

Must have strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.<\/p>\n

We have an opening for a full-time Children\u2019s\/Youth Pastor\/Director. Currently our youth averages around 60 students during Midweek. Over the past few years, we have been working to build our children\u2019s ministry and have done well in doing so. We\u2019d like to continue that area but also begin expanding our teen ministry as some of the kids have grown into this age bracket. Presently our largest division is the elementary grades 1-5. We currently only have around 9 \u2013 10 early teens but hope to develop this group.<\/p>\n

We have a great volunteer staff who work with our kids. We are involved in CTS and are working to increase our participation in this area. We also take a major role in Church Camp during the summer as well as a winter retreat.<\/p>\n

We are a church in a rural community with a large Family Life Center with gymnasium and classrooms. Applicants need to be willing and able to live in a rural setting where kids participate in things like 4-H and raising animals for the County Fair. Walmart is half an hour drive.<\/p>\n

Primary Objective:<\/strong> To oversee the discipleship ministry of the youth of all ages. Primary focus will be on elementary ages, however, begin developing an early teen discipleship program.<\/p>\n

Job Description:<\/strong> To administer the youth ministries of the church for the purpose of leading young people to Christ and Christian maturity.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Oversee planning, coordination\/cooperation of Youth\/children\u2019s ministry.<\/li>\n
  • Recruit, train, equip and motivate volunteers.<\/li>\n
  • Purchase or prepare all teaching materials for student ministry.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee follow-up of students.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct\/oversee Children\u2019s Worship on Sunday.<\/li>\n
  • Teach\/oversee student midweek services.<\/li>\n
  • Plan and oversee youth summer camp, Vacation Bible School, Easter event and Fall Festival.<\/li>\n
  • Plan and implement events and opportunities that promote community, service, worship and outreach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Organizational Relationships<\/strong>: The Student\/Children\u2019s Pastor\/Director is directly responsible to the Lead Pastor. This individual oversees the volunteers in all phases of the student ministry.<\/p>\n

Musical skill is essential, but so is a heart for discipleship, teamwork, and pastoral care through worship.
