The Free Will Baptist Endowment<\/strong> (formerly The Together Way Trust) was established to provide long-term financial resources for national ministries. The Trust principal will never be used, but the interest is disbursed based on a formula adopted by the National Association.<\/p>\n

WHY AN ENDOWMENT?<\/strong>
\nWith an endowment, the gift you give is never touched. In other words, whether you give $100 or $1 million, the gift remains in the endowment as principal, and the interest is used for ministry. This kind of giving can help Free Will Baptist national ministries avoid debt that could cripple \u00a0outreach (Proverbs 22:7). Resources begin to work for the ministry. A $5 million endowment would take pressure off the ministries, allowing them to rely upon an estimated yearly return. If the Lord tarries and people continue to give, the endowment would grow and should outpace inflation.<\/p>\n

National department directors have committed to reaching a principal balance of\u00a0<\/span>$5 million<\/b><\/span>\u00a0before disbursing payments. Once we reach this milestone, we anticipate an annual return of $350,000 (based on a 7% rate) available\u00a0<\/span>every year<\/b><\/span>\u00a0for ministry needs.<\/span><\/p>\n
