Deacon\/Lay Leader Training<\/strong><\/p>\n

Danny Williams, executive director of Alabama Free Will Baptists, will lead webinars to guide churches in deacon and lay leader training September 15, October 20, and November 17 at 6:00 pm (CT)<\/strong>. Registration will become available in late summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pastor and Pastor’s Wife Support Groups<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We can often learn much and be encouraged just by getting together and discussion issues we are facing in the ministry. We have encouragement groups for both pastors and pastors’ wives.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tim York will lead a Pastor Hangout. This will be an opportunity for pastors discuss any concerns they have and resources that might be available to them.<\/p>\n

WNAC will lead a Pastor\u2019s Wife Hangout. These sessions will be a time of fellowship and encouragement as well as providing resources to help support pastors’ wives.<\/p>\n

Professional Counseling<\/strong><\/p>\n

From time to time, all of us could benefit from having someone we can talk to confidentially. The Executive Office, in partnership with Free Will Baptist North American Ministries<\/a><\/span>, offers the Refresh<\/span><\/a> Program for churches and pastors. A new resource of that program is confidential counseling through professional counselor Tom Jones. IM Inc.,<\/span><\/a><\/span> Free Will Baptist Foundation<\/a><\/span>, and Richland Ave Financial<\/a><\/span> are also partners\/supporters of this program.
